Rubber sheathed cables are designed for industrial environments, which
would damage ordinary plastics within a short time because of the tough
conditions present. Here’s what it withstands:

continues to be highly flexible even at temperatures lower than freezing, thus
making it suitable for outdoor gantry cranes, dock cranes, and refrigerated
chambers.

harsh weather exposure.

Continuous Flex Fatigue: Elastomeric

to prevent plastic degradation.
